Follow Friday Tweeps from Down Under

My Follow Friday recommendations on the 2nd September 2011.

As the next stop in the Follow Friday World Tour I will like to recommend some tweeps from Down Under, being New Zealand and Australia.

John Owens @JohnIMM is a passionate professional in business and data modelling and the creator of the Integrated Modelling Method.

Fellow New Zealander Doug Newdick @dougnewdick is a philosophical enterprise architect, strategic thinker, billing geek, business consultant, telco OSS/BSS expert.

Vincent McBurney @vmcburney is a Melbourne based information management practice lead and blogger and IBM Information Champion.

Fellow Melbournian quality geek Marianne Colwell @emx5 is also a foodie. That’s good.

Sydney based Wolf Schumacher @wschumac is the director of SaaS company RewardSuper Pty Ltd and also runs Business & Technology Consultants Schumacher Partners.

  1. Hi Henrik,

Love the map, that’s exactly how we see the world from here ;-)
Tell me, how is the world tour functioning, will someone show up here in Sydney, give me a call, send an email?
Happy to invite for a great meal directly at the beautiful harbour opposite the famous Opera House. Please let me know.

    Have a great weekend,
    Best, Wolf

Thanks Wolf. I love travelling, so it would be great if my world tour was a real world event and not just a virtual thing. I’ll go looking for a sponsor :-)

  2. Great, thanks Henrik, also for your RT. Looking forward to meeting you here in due course. Guess you have all my contact details, if not find them on our website on the ‘Contact Us’ page: http://www.rewardsuper.com.au/contact.html
BTW, the restaurant I was talking about is ‘Wildfire’: http://www.wildfiresydney.com
    Enjoy your trip.
    Best, Wolf

Hey Henrik – I second that, if you’re ever down this way, drop in and say hi! I’ve already managed to taek one twitter friend from your end of the world out for a drink in Wellington, happy to make it more.

  4. Henrik Liliendahl Sørensen says:

Thanks again Wolf and Doug. All you antipodes seem to be extremely friendly.

    • Hi Henrik. To paraphrase an old Aussie travel ad: “Where the bloody hell are you?” Any chance we are going to see you in Sydney and/or Wellington anytime soon?
      Best, Wolf

      • Henrik Liliendahl Sørensen says:

Ha. I actually have made a try to go abroad, but only came as far as London, UK. Still working on the real world tour however.
